Fleet Dash Cams: buying questions
Which fleets should choose TMV dash cams?
TMV recommends dash cams for NEMT and other commercial vehicles. For waste trucks and school buses needing several camera views, explore our mobile DVR systems. We help select the setup around the vehicle and the footage you need.
Can I buy this hardware without software?
Yes. You can purchase TMV hardware alone. TracFleet adds connected video access and fleet information; those software services are not included in a hardware-only purchase.
Can I purchase TracFleet separately for other hardware?
No. TracFleet requires TMV hardware and is not sold as standalone software.
How do we retrieve video with TracFleet?
With a connected TMV system, your team can retrieve available footage remotely and review it with vehicle and route information. Connectivity, recording settings, and retention determine what footage is available.
Is the hardware suitable for harsh commercial environments?
TMV supplies heavy-duty equipment for the harsh environments of commercial vehicles. Tell our team about your vehicles and operating conditions so we can confirm suitable equipment and its specifications before you buy.
Who handles installation and support?
TMV provides onsite installation and repairs in Southern California and direct access to our team for support nationwide. Outside Southern California, discuss installation arrangements with us before ordering.
What information do you need for a quote?
